BESSOLO

The neoclassical architectural style of this residence defines its formal gardens, with drifts of jasmine, dwarf pittosporum, formal boxwood-edged beds, and a variety of traditional topiaries throughout the property. This highly manicured landscape demands keen pruning techniques by a skilled team to maintain a diamond-patterned espalier of white jasmine, spirals of ‘Cecil Brunner’ roses and jasmine on the columns of a poolside arbor, and cone and clipped hedges throughout. White crape myrtle trees (Lagerstroemia indica) and white tree roses complete the elegant color scheme of green and white, with color accents in containers rotated throughout the seasons. “This formal garden highlights the client’s love of roses and a manicured garden,” says Trace.
